mxt or m6

Hello all

I am new to this forum and i have always been interested in metal detecting and i am ready to buy my first detector. i have been researching
the past few months reading everything i can find and i am totaly stuck on the mxt or m6,i just cant deside what to do here...i have read many
of the mxt vs m6 chatter but what i want to know is,,how small of a nug will the mxt find?...i hear where i live in rocky mountain house, alberta, canada ,,there is
gold but thy say its mostly flower gold around here so i beleave it must be small,so what i am wondering is should i even bother with the mxt,,i am very interested
in prospecting but maby i would need a rig geared more to very small,i am interested in coin shooting aswell, thats why i was thinking the m6,i love the idea of the tone search,,,
,well any come back would be apreshated, thanks again

If you're considering gold hunting go with the MXT. I have the M6 and its great as a coin-shooter, but the added benefits with the MXT are a must for gold hunting. I'd say MXT for you!!!!

Hello Greg and thx for the info,,:clapping:

What would be the best coil or a must have coil that i should have to go along with the mxt,i see many ppl talking about diferent ones for different areas...is there one better for prospecting and another for coin shooting?
and what it the 950 coil good for that comes with it? thanks any and all feed back will be greatly apreshated.:canadaflag:

If your after deep coins or Relic's then the MXT as it has the Threshold adjustment ..........But if your only after recently lost coin / jewelry at your Parks / School yards then I would go for the M6 as the tone ID is a blessing for that type of hunting.

Thanks for the info Rob..i have made up my mind i will be getting the mxt..happy hunting::detecting:
