MXT or bust:

Nancy-IL

Well-known member
I am hoping to get my MXT out this weekend with temps up in the 60's or I'm going to bust! It's ready to go and waiting to be turned on to find my first silver of the year. That's always been exciting to me. :wiggle: This winter has been one heck of a long and cold season. I hope others out West have enjoyed the warmer weather and got out a bit. Thanks for your time and HH to all, Nancy

Hope you get out Nancy. The snow is gone and temps are on the upswing around here, but now its raining. It won't be long and I will be out and about. HH Dennis in Idaho

if the ground has been frozen remember to wear gloves. the ground will still be real cold.

Looking forward to hearing about how you do! Good luck and....ENJOY!!!! (Doin' a silver dance for you guy's!)

That's great news Nancy, glade to here the weather is easing up on you guys...................:clapping:

But at least we've had a more detectable winter than you have and have been out a bit. we get more of a 'teaser' winter in that it LOOKS detectable, but get out there and the temps are cold and/or it's windy and/or there's a wet rain. If you should get a warm break in the winter, the lawns are well soaked and easy-to-recover targets from.

I'm originally from Utah and I miss those long, white winter days. The scenery was beautiful, yet I couldn't see the lawn or dirt until late February or early March. That encouraged me to spend many hours in the libraries doing research to prepare for the detecting season

Best wishes for improved weather, and on hitting that silver for 2009! I hope you have some good-potential sites lined up.

Monte

Thanks everyone and I hope we all get to be outside detecting soon. Yes, I have a few good spots lined up and I think we've got enough to last thoughout the year and then some. HH to all and I hope you get that one coin or item this year that puts that sparkle in your eye. Nancy
