MXT on SC Beaches what to use?????

Hi,
Spending a few days at Myrtle Beach and have been out on the beach twice. Need some info on what settings to use in wet sand and dry sand. I have the stock coil and a 6X10 DD ???
Should I spend most time searching in dry sand where they sit or in the wet sand. I have been getting a lot of low numbers hits that say pull tab 5 cents or ring ??? What about high numbers in the 90 range most turn out to be a 12" buried can ??? Any info will be a help so far my wife has picked more with her old old Garrett 350.
Thanks Jim

With the MXT I liked a DD at the beach. I liked to run relic on the beach. I used the 6x10 but found the 10" was deeper. On those cans lift the coil 6" or so. You'll lose a coin but the cans will still read.

I always found the better stuff where the water made hands shrink. It doesn't mean someone couldn't lose jewelry by their blanket. Rob
