mxt / mxt300 whats the difference??

The 300 has a 12" (300 mm) coil and has a flat black powder coat paint job. The MXT comes with the 950 coil and gloss black enamel paint.

So if you don't need that 12" coil and a 9.50 coil is big enough, go for the MXT..
On my MXT 300, I got rid of the big coil and only use the 5.3 coil.

personally I think the 12'' is an outstanding coil but then it found me my first silver quarter and deepest find a wheatie at 9'' that according to the length of my digger(could have been deeper none shallower)the bertman my witness I had him check the target with his machine before I recovered the coin. The price difference in machine I believe to be good compared to new coil price if you decided you wanted a bigger coil after all.:detecting:
