MXT,MXT Pro and MXT 300. Is there a difference in VDI Numbers?

I finally obtained the MXT. I have been doing research on how to use it. But I find the charts vary without indication of the machine. Is there a difference in the VDI charts ? Is there one just for the MXT with the Eclipse 950 coil ?

I have understood it can vary from unit to unit. my friends DFX hits a nickel all day long at 20---my MXT series E tracker will be a 18. (silver content war nickels slightly higher.) my clad quarter is an 83 his an 85. now thats MXT vs DFX but i bet its still some of the same insides. i think the MXT pro goes 2 numbers higher too...

The MXT and MXT 300 are the same machine, then they came out with the MXT Pro which added tones, and 3 buttons on the TID Display ( tones, Ground Grab and Back light) and then they simply added a little "All" sticker to the machine and it became the MXT All Pro. VDI numbers are all the same. The 14KHz machines ( like the MXT's) are calibrated to have/display the same VDI numbers as the older 6.59KHz machines.

The only way that I find a difference in VDI numbers between my DFX and MXT is when using different coils. If I am using the 6X8 SEF coil, nickels will run 22 but with whites coils they are almost always 20. The VDI normalization on the DFX can be turned off but the MXT can't. Both machines with Whites coils generally read a nickel at 20 however, with the MXT I do usually see a bounce to 18 regularly.
