grumpy

New member
Can someone please inform me about the MXT Model ; I see different markings on different ones. Dual this and that 300 and so on. ARE all the MXT machines the same except for the attachments ??? coil ect.????? I am assuming they are all the same but not sure.
Also are different age machines all the same or are the newer ones new and improved????
Thanks for the help.
Grumpy

All are the same. The MXT 300 comes with a bigger coil and is powder coated. There is no dual MXT. Rob

Sorry I thought I read on one in a pic that said something like Dual Tracker or such????
Thanks for info

The MXT

n/t

Thanks; now we have a better idea what to do. Does the MXT seem to hold up for several years operation?

Grumpy, I've had mine for 8 yrs. now and last winter I sent it in for a check-up. All components were 100% active and the only thing that needed to be done was tightening the plug where the headphones attach. Not bad for a unit that has been used and used. Heck, it's better than the Energizer Bunny! Believe me, my detector didn't just sit in the closet to gather dust! We hunted all day many times and I packed a picnic lunch for us. :twodetecting: Does it hold up? YES! :thumbup:

Thanks Nancy;
Thats the way I hunt; All I can anywhere I can. Sounds pretty durable to me. One more dumb question ; Is the headphone jack a 1/4 " or the little 1/8 " on all the machines or has that been both??
Thanks Much
Grumpy

The headphone jack is 1/4". And no question is dumb. Yes, the MXT is a very durable unit. I love it! HH to you Grumpy and to all, Nancy
