MXT Makeover

Here's my MXT wishlist for Mr. WhitesClaus;
1. Same great machine----plus a nightlight mode
2. Same great machine----but at 6.5kh
The M-6? Can't see getting one of these after taking away the options of selecting different modes just for the sake of a more desireable frequency.
The high gain in combination with the 14kh does in MHO, make for a noisier running unit and less of an ability to silence the undiserable targets.
Can anyone modify the MXT to run at the predominately 6.5 kh Whites has stuck to so long, and be able to use the standard coils from the pro series or the XLT.
Just tossing it around. H.H.

Keep all the features but make it 6.5 khz. and add a hotrock accept/reject switch.

Now that would be the berries Richard. Keep everything the same but give us that all around frequency. Hot rock reject wouldn't be bad, but I could live without it if I had to.
