MXT January Hunt - Man it's cold!

Had to get out today, even though the wind was blowing and it was in the upper 40's, I had a nice 1 hour hunt. Took my MXT in a local park and came away with 24 coins, $1.61, man was it good to do a little MD'ing! These coins were found in an area that was only 20 X 40 feet. Love my MXT!

Good hunt.
I can take the cold... it's that wind that hurts.

Good luck & HH

It'll get warmer. Nice hunt. I got out Tuesday and didn't last 10 minutes, it was so cold.

:clapping:Congrats on your finds. Here in Mo. it's unusally warm for this time of the yr. Up in the 50's and 60's some days. So been getting my mding-fix!!!! Hope for better weather for you guy's. Don't worry it'll hit here too probably in a couple of wks.

Good hunt. Every coin adds up in the end. Do you save all your clad for the end of the year count? I'll never forget the year that Larry and I had almost $1,400 in clad. HURRAY!!!! HH, Nancy

Hi - Yes I do. This year I made a spreadsheet to track my coins. It will let me know date, where, what detector was used, count count and dollar amount, plus a section for notes. It will give me average count and total per hunt as well as a YTD totals. Although, there's something to be said for the excitement of finding out at the end of the year.
Don't 'cha just love this hobby?!

Oh yeah! It gets exciting when you take the change to the bank and come back with bills. Tell me another hobby that makes you money without a astronomical expense.

That's cool about your bookkeeping. I would also make a log of where and what was found. We could always go back if it was good and easy pickings. And believe me, we have. HH, Nancy
