Got out Sunday with the MXT and hit a battlefield. Light snow but ground NOT frozen yet! Here is what the field looks like upon arrival...

I go to the corner of field where last time out, I recovered some Confederate Enfields and a Gardner bullet. No sooner I turn on MXT, I get a good hit and start digg'n...

First bullet of the day! Not sure what kind yet but a cool looking short fat stubby .577

I just want to say that 3 of the bullets found, gave a -30 or -50 on the VDI. Normally I would pass up negative iron numbers but because bullets were so deep, they registered in the negative until I remove first couple inches of dirt, then they would register +45 or +50. I have recovered more bullets that way, so dig those negative numbers if your RELIC hunting!!! Here's my take for the day...

You all take care and have a great week! :)

I can do that also as I am a fiend for warm gear for hunting--Just bought a coat and shirt (Sleeping Indian) the wool is 2 ins. deep (almost)--I have just ordered more long underware from Cabelas--Take a look at their E.C.W.C.S. style---This was the only one that I had not tried--They are EXtremly warm--and Comfy--I own NO dress clothes--As I never need them But have tons of cold weather gear to be able to hunt Elk-Deer in the Pacific Northwest around Mt. St Helens area--Every thing I have makes Detecting in Jan Fun-----------BUT NOTHING keeps my hands warm unless I use Gore Tex Gloves but cant use them detecting
