MXT headphones for hearing impaired

Hi all,
Would appreciate your advice on which would be the best headphones for me. I have some hearing loss in one ear, and it's getting worse with age. Go figure! Want something good, but don't necessarily need top-of-the-line.
Thanks much.

Hello. I also have hearing problems in one ear. It was recommended to me to use headphones that have indvidual volume controls so I can adjust the levels for each ear separately to a comfortable level. I would also recommend headphones with a built in limiter so you don't cause any more damage to your hearing from volume spikes that can be extreme with cheaper headphones. I think due to the fact that you currently have hearing problems is reason enough to get good headphones even if you have to spend a little more money. I bought a pair of Killer B's "Hornet" headphones which were improved with separate volume controls for this year.

Another brand to look at are the Sun Ray pro Gold. I wear a hearing aid, and these are hearing aid compatible. Seperate volume control, and limiter. I really like them, Beale.

[size=medium]Hi, I've had my Sun Ray Pro Gold for almost two years now and I woldn't trade them for any other set. I agree with Beale 100% and they are well worth the bucks. I think with the volume controls and the limiter, you'll be able to hear those slight tones that are deep. Don't think you can go wrong with these headphones.

Hi everyone.....I'm back. I took a break from here since it was winter and now it's becoming diggin' weather again!!!! YES!!!!!!!! Hope everyone has their detector ready to go!

Sunray Pro Gold have seperate volume controls and a limiter switch that was designed with the MXT in mind. I have a pair and they are good.

Alrighty, I took your advise Nancy and bought the Sunray Pros. and should have them by July 1st. I can't wait to try them.

I really think you'll love them. Let me know how they work for you. I can't say enough good about them. Very high quality made headphones. HH, Nancy
