The head phone jack on my mxt is giving me some problems, the plastic threads and the metal nut are not a good combo. My ? is do they make a better replacement part and if so where can i get it and also is this something i can replace myself or send it off. i have taken it apart and it appears to be just a lil solder job

I think White's has done away with the plastic on their replacement and if you can solder, you can fix it yourself if it is out of warranty. If you are still under warranty, I would let White's do it and you get a free check up at the same time. Call Sweet Home for your replacement part.
