New member
Yes after 25 years of detecting finally found 3 gold Sovereigns in less then 2 years last one was about a month ago at a country town
all with the MXT, first 2 i was using the 6x10 DD coil and the last one i found at the same spot as 1 i had found 6 months ago this time i used the 4x6 DD as the area was littered with pulltabs....

Very nice finds, I would be interested in knowing what the VDI reading was also.

Beautiful coins Raoul, WTG.

VERY nice coins. How high did you jump for joy when you found them? Or did you pass out? :stretcher: (that's what I would do) Dreams do come true. Your gold coins are very beautiful. WOW!!!! Thank you for sharing and HH to all, Nancy

man if i found 2 sovereigns in the same place i"d dig all the tabs out of the way to see if there were more under the tabs.

Hi Raoul thanks for showing your gold coins makes me want to get out & hunt some old coins.
There's quite a few Aussies on these forums. i"m from Melbourne Victoria & have been looking at the MXT or BHID 300 as my next detector for my collection as it looks like they do well at finding gold jewelry.
thanks again & hope you find another gold sovereign soon.
