MXT giving me problems

The LCD screen is jibberish. Sometime when I turn on the
machine, the LCD screen doesn't come on at all, but I can hear
the targets going off under my coil. This happened last year and I sent it to
this guy in IL, who works for whites. He replaced the LCD and it worked
fine for a short time. Then the problem started again. AND THEN wouldn't
you know I didn't have any problems for several months. Now its acting up again.
When the screen DOES come on it looks like Japanese or some alien writing.
Several times today it wouldn't light up....then it would for awhile and then
it would turn to jibberish.

Didn't find much of anything today. just a small amount of change.

Yea, I'm calling them today. I already have the machine broken down and ready to pack up.
If they don't get it right this time I'll have to buy another machine and relagate the old one
to the junk heap. I don't want to have a lemon thats going to nickel and dime me to death
like a used car. Although I have the Ace, I think I;m going to get a Tesoro SIlver Umax for
a second detector. So then I'll have THREE detectors. I can se I got into an expensive hobby.

I sent the machine today.
I called Sweet Home Oregon and they said
they have seen this problem before and gave me
some technical info that went over my head.
Its going to take a couple weeks though as I sent in
the cheap way: 7 to 10 business days to get there.
AT least I have my Ace 250 to fall back on.
They assured me it will get fixed this time. I hope so.

I assure you Whites is by far in my opinion the best at customer service. I have never not had them come thru for me. Last year a friends of mine sent in his machine in and it came back wit new coil saying they had found some problem with it and replaced it for free. The machine was 3 years old.

I got a bad with my detector purchase you know the one always in the deals you get... Well my zipper busted 2 week in to me owning it. I only sent e-mail nothhing more they sent me one out and had it in 7 days, and never asked to have the old bag or anything

Folk I promise you when you own a Whites machine you own the best
