MXT for repair

New member
My dad has an MXT, about 6-8 years old that lost the audio. He had a guy look at it and said he "unplugged and re-plugged in the computer" which apparently fixed it until my dad turned it back on again. So my question is, does anybody have a repair person they can recommend? The guy we already tried is in Lombard, IL. I guess he doesn't know what the problem is or can't fix it. Thanks.

I would think you would be better off sending it to Sweet Home, Oregon. Its parents would be happy to see it again, and would give it an all over checkup/tune before returning it. Oddly, Whites has a service center in Lombard, ILL. If its the same service center for Whites I would hope they would do more than what you described.

Was he the "WHITES" fix it guy? We've sent ours in up by Chicago and have had very good experience. Larry would know where and he might guild you to him. Very fast turnaround also. It's strange that he said it was fixed. Hope he didn't charge you anything. HH, Nancy
