MXT for gold only - ??

Dear THers!

How to set up the controls on MXT so that it would see gold and silver only? No coins, no iron , no copper, no nickel, etc.

Up to now I used the factory preset mode only.
 
YOU CAN"T, NO WAY. Ain't going to happen! Sorry to have to give you the bad news:shrug:

Which machine to your knowleage can do this? To beep only on gold and silver (pull tabs and other aluminum too of course)
 
None! I don't think they make a detector that would just pick up gold or silver. And if they did we would all be rich. So if you find one PLEASE let me know. Even the detectors for gold like the Fisher Goldbug and the Whites GMT will pick up all metals.

Thank you for expert advise. Sorry for newbys questions of a gooly beginner.

To become rich first gold must be in ground. Without it no machine will help. Here in NY when we find a clad quarter it is a big event. In five months of MDing I collected seven or eight quarters already. For NY where everything is off-limit it is not bad.

I am counting down those 37 remaining days when I will go for three weeks to a south island country where all the beaches and waters belong to all people and there is no restrictions on MDing at all. I hate to waste my precious time there digging coins and nails. But I see I will have to.
 
There is Gold in the state of New York, Gold has been reported in streams draining the Adirondack and Catskill Mountains.And there is glacial deposits all around the state.:thumbup:
