MXT February Finds

This is all of my finds for the month of February with my MXT and 3x6 mini-DD coil.
I went to a old farm area where a old house once stood and found a few older coins. They were around 4-5 inches deep.
The Morgan CC dollars vdi at 94 with a dollar sign and the V-nickel came up with a vdi of 18 with a ring & nickel sign,
the Barber dollar came up a vdi of 89 with a .50 cent sign.
These are the first old coins that I have ever found.
I cleaned them up with silver jewelry cleaner and a jeweler cloth. The V-nickel I cleaned with my clad coins.
I also found a 14k gold 4-diamond ring, one sterling silver ring, a gold plated ring,
A gold plated toe-wire ring, a sterling silver bracelet & a gold Nike pendent with no chain.
I have no ideal what the eye piece is but the backside looks to have been attached to something at one time.
The hammer is a small miniature model?. The watch still runs but has been run over by something and cracked the crystal.
I also found a lot of clad coins in different places that I go to hunt. I only put one of each of the clad coins that I found
in the picture to show how well the cleaning process that (Art SC) posted sometime back on using Muriatic acid to clean clad coins.
I can tell you it works great if you follow the direction he outlined and do a small amount of coins at a time in your tumbler.
I will say to Make Sure you are Outdoors when you use the (Muriatic-acid) to Clean With because it does Put Off a very Strong Toxic Odor.

You have done very well. I have found old coins, and gold rings. But the silver dollars are wonderful. I have yet to find one. Could you give me any advice on using the 6 by 9 coil. I just got one and have not use it yet. I have only used the 950. What differences are their in the two coils, as far as usage.

I do understand. It is exciting to think about what the next find might be. Love this hobby. The locations constantly change and so do the finds. No time to get bored.

Good luck

Hi:
Thank you for the response to my finds listing. I have never used
a 6x9 coil. I have always used the stock coil until a few months back and bought the 3x6 DD Mini-Shooter and have been using it ever since.
There are a lot of knowledgeable people on the forum that may have had experience with the 6x9. Maybe some of them will help you out with your question. Sorry! I couldn't be of help to your question.
