If you happen to live in the greater Portland, Oregon metro area, we are holding an open Discussion & Training tomorrow, Saturday the 8th, on the MXT 'family' of detectors, which include the MXT, MXT Pro, M6 and new MX5 models.

This is free to the public. If you own one of these models or are considering buying one, why not come and join our group discussion and training? Bring your detector and/or notes with questions to be addressed.

We are holding our monthly Detector Owner Rendezvous (program on Relic Hunting) followed by the MXT model group training & discussion at:

Wish I could attend not only for the information but one of my all time favorite Mexican food resturants which is La Carreta at 4534 SE McLoughlin Blvd in Portland. That would be two so worthwhile things to do but alas it is no go for me. My 10 year old granddaughter is in the hospital diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.

Redrock Sorry too here that. Thoughts and Prayer are with you and family..

Thank you. She is still in the hospital. We all will be going in Monday to learn how and when to give her her shots. Very involved and for her a lifetime of insulin shots ahead. Hard to think of that for a 10 year old.

I am so sorry to hear about your granddaughter. Be thankful they detected it. I'll be saying a couple extra prayers for her. Take care, Nancy

Thank you Nancy. I appreciate it. Our daughter is beating herself up to some degree about it. What she could have done but the doctors say they have no clue how Type one comes on it could be most anything some bug that attacks the pancreas anything. Type 2 is in part a culmination of how you have treated your body over your life to some degree. It is part of life.

Please tell you daughter it isn't her fault one bit. Type 1 happens to many youngsters.
