MXT - Eclipse DD (6x10) Coil

I hear a lot of great things about this coil.

Good for prospecting and many folks say this is the coil they use on their MTX a majority of the time.

Is this a good all around coil? (Prospecting, coinshooting, ext.?)

I am very happy with it. I bought it on recommendations of the wizards/gurus from this Forum and I became happy right away instantly. You will be happy too.
Especially if you in trash. And also it is water proof for shallow water hunt.

BUT NEVER LIFT IT ABOVE YOUR HEAD!!!!

Got one three weeks ago for my MXT, heard they had better penetration. Was using a Shooter DD for the trashy parks in my area. This thing is fantastic, goes deep, separates trash and I'm plucking nickels like grapes on a vine. The shooter is collecting cobwebs until prospecting time. You can't go wrong with one.:bouncy:

I was in Sweet Home today at the factory. Along with other things got a cover for my 6X10.
CSR there, Mary, said they are the best for MXT.
Those folks as far as customer service, are the best! ( Mary looks good too, but I didn't say that)

The best all around coil in. just my opinion.

I run mine 70% of the time. Gives up just a touch of depth to the 9.5 but works incredibly well in all but the most trashy areas and covers way more ground than 4x6.

I hunt old homesites 90% of the time, do you feel the 6 x 10 would serve me best? The ground is pretty nuetral in my area.

I have a new MXT 300 coming my way, and wanted to get another coil ordered for it

Ditto that!
