HELLO MY FRIENDS I HAVE ONE QUESTION IS THERE A BIG DIFFERENCE , WHICH OF THIS TWO DETECTS BETTER? :yo:

I KNOW THAT THE MXT PRO HAS NEW FEATURES BUT DOES THAT REALLY MEAN IT DETECTS BETTER????? ITS LIKE HAVING A Lamborghini CAR AND JUST BECAUSE THEY PUT A TV INSIDE THAT DOESN'T MEAN IS GOING TU RUN FASTER?

FIRST I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE Backlit Display

GUYS IF YOU CAN HELP ME I WILL APPRECIATE A LOT

I had a mxt 300 for two years when the pro came out i bought it it is the same detector but the ground grab is nice and the threshold seems to be more steady I have a 15x18 sef coil and for sure it works better on the pro. and the backlight is always nice.

MXT PRO
AT PRO
Sand Shark.

If you can take advantage of the added features to maximize the machines versatility and effectiveness for a given situation it can definitely help YOU detect better.

Well, the MXT PRo has one secret:
IronID in relic mode...

That's exactly the same as Trigger Forward & DISC turned to ZERO on the Classic MXT/MXT 300. It's called Ferrous (iron) ID, Archeologist or Mixed Mode in the manual (pg 28/29). Ferrous targets give a low tone, non-ferrous give a high tone

if I would have to buy a MXT tomorrow I would go for the old one. I'm not saying the MXT pro is bad, it's that I just already know the monster
