Hello everyone i have a delema and maybe shared by other Mxt users lol.I was wondering if thay made a true Mxt E-series rain/dust cover? I know thay make them for the display but what about the box ? I have seen many different one's but none have the holes for the knobs and switches in them for us who like doing adjustments when we are in the field. I'm seriously thinking of making my own some how or maybe some of you have some idea's on this.Thank you sasuache

Order some from Detecnicks detecting shop in the UK (look on there website), they have covers made by a company called Thesaurus and they are the best covers that you will be able to buy anywhere, Fantastic fit and quality these are the only covers i would buy for any of my machines, You will NOT be disappointed.

Cheers,
botto.

Agree with botto 100%.I've never seen any other cover for any detector with the quality these are manufactured with. There is a flap over the buttons on the mxt box cover but is easy to lift to gain access to the knobs. You won't get better quality.

I have't seen any with access to the controls. I split mine in 2 pieces so I don't have to undo the whole thing to change one setting. The cover I bought is not that thick and I can operate the switches without taking it off.

K-co in Florida has one that is quite durable and there is a slot so the knobs are not covered up. I think it retails for $19.95.

Thank you everyone for your time i will check into those different types of dust covers  sas

I made one its on page 4 of the modifications section, nothing fancy just protects from dust and scratches somewhat.
