MXT coils

I'm thinking about pruchasing an MXT 300 (w/ the 12" coil) was going to purchase a couple of more coils with it.

Wanted one for high trash areas and one for prospecting.

Which of these will do the trick?

Eclipse Deepscan DD 1400
Eclipse Shooter DD (4x6)
Eclipse 5.3 (6x6)
Eclipse DD (6x10)

I have these 2 Eclipse Shooter DD (4x6)
Eclipse 5.3 (6x6) and they work great in trash areas But over all theyre all good coils

The 6X10 DD is the one you want for prospecting. For trashy areas I would go with the 4X6 or the 5.3 (either one really).

I have all the coils mentioned except for the 14DD and agree that the 2 smaller ones are great in trash with my favorite being the 4X6. I like the 6X10 as my main coil as it gets thru trash better than the 9.5 or the 12". For relics in clean areas, I think your 12" will do the trick nicely. If I could only go with 3, I'd choose the 4X6, the 8X10 and the 12", but that's just me. Some really, really like the 5.3 and use it as their main coil, but it doesn't fit me. The 14DD is probably your best bet for depth in heavily mineralized ground, but I've seen a number of comments on the forums as to its being pretty heavy after an hour or so and I doubt it's that much better than the 12" in most ground. My two bits.
