MXT and the Eclipse 6x10DD coil - question

How many MXT users like the 6x10 DD? I find anymore that I'm just about using it all the time. I've got the 5.3 and the 950 and the 4x6 is on the way but I still end up using the 6x10 most of the time. Some of it may be out of habit but it does seem to work very well for me. I found an 1838 Half dime and several civil war buttons with it yesterday. The half dime is my oldest coin that I've found ever here in western Ky. Just curious how others feel about the 6x10? I'm wanting to try out a Sunray probe on the MXT so I guess that will be my last purchase to go with everything else I have for the MXT. Good luck to all MXT users. I think it is one of the best and I've used about every detector made.

No need to TRY out the DX1--It works----Just buy it and you will not get rid of it---The 14 in. will give you about 2 in. more depth---I find I use it a lot

Just got a 6x10 for mine a couple of weeks ago. It's all I have been using since. Before I was using the 4x6 but this easily covers more ground and goes deeper. It will easily pick em out in the trash if you just slow down the swing.
I am like you, I have tried them all and still use the MXT the most.

I use the 6x10 about 90% of the time I like it better than any of the other factory coils. And the dx-1 is the best money I ever spent. I like the 5.3 but the 6x10 is the best coil.
 
Mike, are you anywhere near Mayfield KY.? I use to live and work there 30 years ago,hope to go back this summer and do some md hunting with the MXT.

Hi, Mike been detecting for about a year now and dont know about those other dectors. Have a MXT with the 5.3 and the 6x10DD .Only used the 5.3 a few times found the DD to do all the work I need.Not to say the 5.3 and other coils well not do the job. But the 6x10DD is aswsome.. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
