MXT and DX-1

jlw

New member
Picked up a used DX-1 recently and with my MXT practicing at a local park what a awesome combination!

It sure is and i wont ever go back too a hand held pinpointer love my DX-1 on my MXT

I have and use several different pin pointers and I have to say that the DX-1 on my MXT performs by far the best of any I've had. The fact that it remains on the detector makes it impossible to forget or misplace, but of course it can only be used on detectors it is compatible with which is the reason I have several others.

You've got the best combo now. I wouldn't be without my DX-1. A big thank you to Ralph at SunRay!:clapping: HH, Nancy

[size=large]it's all personnal preferance. i prefer the hand held so i put my dx-1 on craigslist tonite. i tried it after i got my mxt pro. it came with the probe attached. kept forgetting to switch back to reg. service. did the soccor field while in probe. didn't find a thing. DUH!! i do find the hand-held faster. the only drawback is like mentioned and that is it can be left behind.most who have the sunray probes do enjoy them. hope yours works well for you.

Widebody, I sent you a PM about your probe if you still have it and want to get rid of it?

Thanks,
John

[size=large]still here. answered p.m. hate to get rid of anything but i just don't use it. i'm also at max weight on the mxt for my shoulders.the probe doesn't weigh much but i need to strip off all the weight i can.noticed the other day the machine was getting heavy sooner..
