mxt all pro is an outstanding machine

One of my areas I pound I carefully gridded and hit it from three directions with my mxt all pro. I made sure I overlapped by 50% and carefully hunted an area. After many months of working out of town I finally decided to take my v3i back over what ive hunted with my mxt. (I no longer have the mxt). Im happy to report that the mxt swept the area really clean. I only found 1 dimetthati had missed.

Doesn't surprise me. Why did you get rid of your MXT?

Now that you know this, do you regret selling the MXT?

And that dime....couldn't have been lost after you searched the area with the MXT?

And...hands down...which one is the more switch on and go one?

The MXT is the best machine White's ever made. IMHO

But everybody has it's preferences....:detecting:

I dont regret selling my mxt. I have the sport and a v3i. The v3i gives me more information, and ive been digging the solids while im learning this unit. Its confirming what ive been seeing out of this unit.
Not possible the dime was dropped in last few months. Too deep

In my past experience, you should be digging those "iffy" signals. You're missing out on a lot of great items. JMHO.

As for your dime, it's a very small target and your coil has to be over it to detect it. Just saying........... If your MXT coil would have been over it, you would have it in your pocket.

The coil was definitely over it at one point or another. I had it gridded out with golf tees. With mowing tracks and my footprints it is quite easy to see exactly where ive been. Either way im still impressed with the unit

I have an Etrac, Fisher F75SE and a Whites MXT All Pro. I put on a 13" Ultimate coil and it is an amazing field hunting machine.

In the last five years, I've had the A.T gold, A.T. pro, T2, V3i, Mxt All Pro, and MX sport. Mxt is just to smooth and accurate, and easy and simple to start up and use, MX sport can do anything with the proper loop and is water proof. I travel for work year round, the mxt and the sport are the two that are with me at all times. That combo can do anything. The sport in my opinion is lethal once you understand it. But so is the mxt.

It is possibly one of the best machines ever made along with the M6.Both machines will bring home the bacon just as well as any of the latest offerings from any manufacturer.Don't know what it is about whites but i have had some brilliant success with whites machines over here in England.
I do beach detecting exclusively now since moving to the coast and the best beach machine i have ever owned is a whites beach hunter id.Many give up on this machine because it is difficult to learn how to get the most from it.Learn it however and it will destroy the most popular beach machines on tiny jewellry and thin chains and pick up objects from silly depths.
Thumbs up to Whites for producing machines that get the job done.

I also believe MXT one of the best machines ever made, maybe I'd like to see her in a new modern building, but it has to be exactly. The most important thing in this is the sound.

Maybe they could make the MXT in a "pink" color :clapping::detecting: for us girls.

LOL.

I once owned a V3i and after 200 hours the detector and I just didn't click. So the V3i was sold with no regrets. That was many years ago and I have had many good times with my MXT's :)

I owned a v3i a couple years ago and my m6 outhunted it. Finally did a reset on all programs but at the time I did not understand it as much as I do now. The mx sport I have did a fantastic job at the beach a couple weeks ago. I died on me and whites had me a new one in 3 days. Once I learn the sport I believe it can run with the mxt and m6

Thus far along, I have to say I am a fan. Just a rookie with my MXT All Pro.

I have a few years on other machines and am learning the ways of the MXT. I like the audio. Currently, I'm preferring the single tone over the multi-tone as it sounds cleaner and is easier for me to distinguish target characteristics.

I've been experimenting with the 3 different modes while hunting and am finding it useful during my learning process to jump from one mode to another to gather target characteristics as I am preparing to dig a target. It helps in the association of targets with the audio and digital TID's. I've also been doing some coil swapping as well between the two that I have; the 10DD and the 5.3 eclipse. Both seem to work very well.

Still need a lot more hours before feeling any sort of proficiency with it, but I feel like the basics are there and have to give the MXT a thumbs up to this point.
