Yes.
A Whites Rep told me this yesterday on the phone.

The first numbers is the year the 3rd is the day of the year.

You should probably just call their 1-800 number and be sure my statement is accurate.
I was trying to write down a buch of stuff regarding my MXT and this was one of the things
we'were talking about.
