MXT 5.3 coil

Hi:

I use the 5.3 coil quite a bit. I recently uncovered a boy scout Wolf Pack Tie clasp at 8 inches at a scool built in the 1970's. What does that tell you?
I don't remember who it was, if it was at this forum or another, but I was advised to run my MXT on relic mode with the senesitivity at 9 or higher if the ground isn't too bad. I have, and I have had good result and that with the 5.3. I don't use the 9.5 much.
