MXT 300mm

Has anybody seen the MXT with 300mm decals on it. Seen one today and the guy said it's White's newest MXT that goes 20% deeper. Can't find anything about it.
Thanks Dave

Just want to clarify this a little, I seen this ad on Craigslist under detectors in Sacramento. That's all I know about it and can't find anything on it from the White's website. Just curious if this is on the up and up.

I can't imagine that White's Electronics would debut a new detector on Craigslist. I think I will wait for an offical annoucement from White's. HH Dennis in Idaho

I can't believe Whites would put a decal MXT 300 on the machine if there is really no internal fundamental difference.
Just because it has a 12 in coil as the STANDARD coil doesn't make it any different. Its still an old MXT. Can't imagine Whites would make a fool of its self by calling an apple an orange.

I just talked to Todd Marshal at White's regarding the New MXT 300. First, there are no internal changes in the machine. The new Flat Black paint job was tested in the field and held up real well(at least as good as the glossy finish)to heavy use. Extra depth is related to larger coil size entirley. Both Models of the MXT will continue to be available at least for some time. I for one think this is a good thing. After all, not everyone wants their Chevy or Ford truck with the same engion and color. I did not mention the DFX 300 but I assume the same applies.

What a huge dissapointment if all they did was dress the MXT up with a Super 12 coil. We could already do that.:sadwalk:

Marketing Strategy I guess. Thats ok since I have a DFX-450 (18"coil) haha.

At this time I am only interested in the new PI that will hopefully come out sometime.
