MXSport 9.5 Concentric Coil

Got out and tried the 9.5 concentric today and it was awesome! For me, its a better choice for what I do, hunting school yards for coins; amongst the can slaw, pull tabs etc.
Very stable like the stock coil. I had zero challenges pinpointing and target separation/ ID by the MXSport was remarkable. Ran sensitivity to 7-8, and didn't even bother trying to max it, I was kept busy at this setting in C&J, Pulling lots of clad coins at the usual 4-6 inches, and was surprised at several 8+++ inch pulls with my White's digger; I really love the audio modulation feature on this unit. Didn't get the chance to try the 6X10 Elliptical yet, was pretty wiped out after the run with 9.5. Lovin' the MXSport

Carlos - I prefer the 950 since I feel it gives me a better target ID on can slaw and bottle caps (and even tabs). But sometimes the ground is too hot for it and I switch back to the DD. Glad to hear you were able to get some deep ones this weekend!

I didn't think the 9.5" coil work on the MXSports. I though it was a difference frequency. Dose all the Whites coils work on the MX Sports ?

Hi Flintstone, White's produces a 9.5 coil specifically for the MXSport since the connector to the unit is designed differently... to resist water.

Thanks! Yes, a delight to still pick some deep ones from an area that i have worked thoroughly before with some other units. The 9.5 worked just as you described. School yards are usually void of hot ground in my parts, but i am still eager to try the DD soon.
