MX5 vs ATPRO --- is there any advantage?

We know we have two great detector companies
Whites and Garrett.

Seems like the MX5 by Whites is to compete with the ATPRO?

Does the MX5 have any real advantage over the ATPRO?
As far as I know you can put the MX5 completely under water so why not go with the ATPRO?
 
I don't think you can submerge the MX5. Also, it's cheaper (don't judge it by the retail price).
 
Many. Better balance, nicer screen, it fits your arm better, less money but built like a tank, very nice options on the mx5.
 
It's a slick looking detector for sure!
Make a fella want to maybe get one??
