So I got the Eclipse 5.3 coil and hit some of the old hedges in down town Vancouver WA, Its hitting targets pity Deep. Coins at 6 to 8 in" rang. Only down side to this coil is when you got foul on top or something small it will read 4 in". Anyone know way?

I'm guessing you meant foil and not 'foul'.

The depth reading on any metal detector is based in signal strength on coin sized objects, usually calibrated to a US dime. Small objects like tiny pieces of foil will read deeper and large coins like half dollars will read shallower, best I can explain it. I'm not an electronics engineer, just someone with 22 years at this hobby and try to be well read about them. JMHO

Thanks randy I just got back from a hunt and killed it with the coil. Im pretty happy with it. "foil" my bad
