MX5 13" DD

Have a party that you got a good copy of the U13, I am on my 3rd one. Can you post your coils Serial number, my 3rd and hopefully charmed unit is 83085, the one it replaces was 82719
Tips:
Depth readings will be off many times, especially shallow targets. The coil skid plate will collect dirt/sand, it is not sealed like a normal coild cover so you have to take it off and clean it often. You may find if you are hunting in trashier areas that you get better results running it not so hot.
You won't be able to get very close to fences or other items in tot lots and parks, it will pick them up from the sides about 3ft out
Hope you got a good one and good luck!

What problems did you have with the 13? Mine has falsed from the start and has to be run on low sensitivity.

I am using it on a DFX, First one suffered impact falsing if AC was up much more than 60, bump it and get a +95. This would happen even without impact if you had it up at 68 or more and swung it a bit fast. The quick stop at the end of the swing when reversed caused a +95. The second one produces a -95 and blanks the threshold when the coil is dropped to the ground or VERY VERY slight down ward pressure is applied no matter what the sensitivity. Then it would not ground balance until I unplugged it. Just got the 3rd one and have not had a chance to test it out yet.. Seems if you get a good one it is out of this world other wise.. disappointing.

Please post your serial number and either Good or Bad next to it, trying to find a pattern.
