MX SPORT?

Doe's the New MX SPROT have Modulated Audio where deeper targets sound softer? And if so is it Adjustable? I found nothing about it in the online Manuel. Thanks.

Andy said in another thread......"MXSport has Audio Modulation as an option . . . . . ." He didn't say if it was adjustable but I can't imagine it not being adjustable.

It has a lot of upgraded programs like the old Nautilus volume reject and also the combined mode with the added Modulation is going to be more like the Nautilus DMC Mode then previous Whites models. I must admit I'm very excited for the first time on a New Detector in a long time. At the very least you got a Target I.D. Submersable waterproof detector!

The similarity ends with the appearance . . . I actually used that line in the Lost Treasure Field Test which is coming in the next issue.

The guts were built on the MXT platform with updating done to boost the transmitter strength along with the addition of new features which equate to better performance in the field. With the 2 optional coils, it can fit virtually any need and my wife has switched over to that as her primary unit.

So Andy is the Modulated Audio adjustable like the V3i with 5 settings or is it On/Off like the XLT/DFX? Thanks as Manuel as no mention off it that I could find.

I have been wondering about this. If the waterproof headphones offered by whites do not have a volume control, and if the MXSport has some kind of benefit from being run at full volume such as a boost mode or turning modulation on or off, wont the lack of headphones without a volume control handicap the unit for those who do not want their ears blasted off by running it at full volume as well as missing out on some kind of volume target boost mode when the detectors volume is fully high .
Everyone needs headphones with a volume control if the detector does not.
I hope the MXSport has just a standard volume control where modulation works if it is low or full blast volume.

Thanks
Jason

It is ON / OFF when you activate the AUDIO MOD option . . . . the adjustable modulation feature would be a nice addition but as they say "you never know what's around the corner" . . . . White's listens and feedback like that on this forum is taken in by the engineers and design team.

Andy

Whites if you are Listening make it adjustable and they will sell even better as not many Detectors in any Price range have Adjustable Modulated Audio.
