General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Wow. Not even close to what I am used to from whites.. I sent it back for exchange on diff brand after talking to whites.. I didn't even want to keep it for a backup .. Pinpoint mode was non existent.. Any target deeper than surface would not pinpoint..tones would shift in and out.. Even though it was made after the date they all were supposed to be to have the newest software update it still did not seem right and was not worth dealing with.. The whites service tech did not answer any questions as he didn't know ... Felt cheap, plastic had sharp edges on the grip.. Just did not live up to anything whites has made since I started using them in 1978.. Felt more coinmaster I guess.. Sorry if this offends people but I have to be honest.. Good luck to anyone buying one..

Yes I'm curious to hear all opinions.. Just too many wrongs for me.. Tones changing and pinpoint issues. Those are the facts.. Opinions are feels like cheap plastic at grip, flexed in my hand and had sharp edges... Modulation did not work at all.. I really wanted it to be awesome.
 
This machine does seem to have mixed opinions,some good and some like yourself which are not so good,one of my buying criterias when looking for a new detector is never buy a new machine until its been out a minimum of 12 months and usually longer,i have stood by the for many many years,the main reason is so that any design faults or other problems should start developing a pattern,of course most of these problems are resolved by the manufactures straight away.Of course not all detectors or detector related items develop faults.But using this criteria of mine has served me well and dont plan on changed any time soon.

The thing is that when a new detector is launched the testers/reviewers are 'carefully selected' and for a very good reason they are often high profile successful detectorist who folks follow,but these testers 'will' never give a bad review,its just not done,each new detector or product will always be promoted as the next best thing after sliced bread and everyone must own one.

Sorry to hear that this new Whites detector did not meet your expectations,at least you did not loose money over it.
