MX Sport randomly goes into pinpont mode

Anyone else with the MX Sport have their machine randomly pop into pinpont mode? Sometimes it will stay that way no matter if I reset or pull the batteries out. I also will never know how long it will stay that way before it decides to play nice again. Trying to see there is something I can try to avoid sending it out to Whites. Thanks!
