MX SPORT COIL'S?

As I understand it just the 2 new coils they have for the mx sport will work there was talk of a jumper wire for older coils to the mxt line but never heard if that was true or not. shortribs
 
I called Whites and they said it will use the same coil as the MXT but it wouldn't be waterproof.
 
Connectors are different. So no, you can't just slap an MXT coil on the MX Sport. We are still awaiting official word on the possibility of adapters or modifications that might make it possible.
 
At first there will be three coils for the MXSport, 10"DD...6x10"DD...and 950 concentric. White's plans to have the same coil line up for the MXSport as it has for the MXT. It will take a little time but it will be worth the wait.
 
White's need to make an 8" coil for the MXSport. The 10" & 950 are too big for hunting rocky lake and river bottoms and the 5.3 is pretty small.
 
It's a start, I'll take what ever coils White's puts out as long as it's smaller than the stock.

I like the elliptical DD for land, always been one of my favorites.
