Got out tonight with GKMan for a hunt in a soy bean field. I ended up with three LCs a KG II a Drape Bust and a Matron. Nothing with a date. Glad to have them anyway.GKman did well too but that's his story.
 
Yes we had a good night Todd! As I mentioned I had been in a funk lately and it was getting really annoying not digging up any old coppers. Thankfully the detecting gods sent a little ray of light my way and gave me a 180? large cent.

Thanks for having me along and I look forward to getting out again soon!

Whaddya mean nobody? What am I chopped clad? Well, I thought the title was funny! I'm getting used to you guys making great finds, about all I got to dig IS chopped clad, no colonial stuff here. Too bad you couldn't get a date though, such nice old coins, would be frustrating not having a date to take you back to another era!
