Multiple frequencies

From what I've read 20khz and 40khz are on the 600 but only in multi mode.
NOT according to my manual they're not?

From what I understand those frequencies are part of the multi IQ tech on both the 600 and 800. But there weighted as primarily freqs in gold mode on 800. I would think the field modes on 600 are weighted toward those frequencies. My guess is gold mode on 800 uses 40khz as primary freq and others weighted down from there and 600 in field mode uses 20khz primary freq with other frequencies weighted down from there? It’s just my guess though.

Standard line is that they are the same machine in the six modes at FP. Settings options are not the same so you can better fine tune an 800 and the 800 has the gold modes.

Agreed Tom.

Trust us. The Nox 600 and the Nox 800 in multi frequency are using exactly the same frequencies in Park1, Park 2, Field 1, Field 2, Beach 1 and Beach 2. Minelab has been on these forums through their field testers and representatives and confirmed it repeatedly, no matter how confusing the manual is........

You need to read page 29 more carefully. It clearly says “Multi-iq frequency range shown applies to both” it’s under the diagram showing the ranges.

I have a friend who has the EQ 800 and I can not convince him that in multi-frequency both detectors 800/600 transmit the same frequency's.

You can bring a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
