Multi tone detector

Boris

New member
I now have a detector with multi tones and am now looking for a second one, I have borrowed a Sidewinder u max and I like it but I want a unit with at least 4 tones. I hunt mostly at night so I don't need another tid machine, I have one but I had problems with my machine, missed hunting time and don't want that again. Thanks for suggestions.

OK well, thanks anyways I guess I will go elsewhere for my info.

Sorry everyone I have recently put my Mother in a nursing home and have suffered from a lack of patience, I didn't mean to be a nuisance.

Actually, the Golden has six or more tones. You can adjust it to your preference by adjusting one of the notch knobs while the unit is in the tone id mode. Also, it is able to search at a very low discrimination level while in the tone id mode. I have an older Royal Sabre that I am able to adjust similarly, but w/only 3 tones. My mouth waters whenever I read about the Golden. When Ed McMahon comes around w/my check-I'm getting one!:yikes::laugh:
