Multi Kruzer how to keep screen light on while detecting?

Tried to find answer in the manual.

The default setting has the light come on when a target is found. You can shut the light off or dim it.

At 0 level, the backlight is off. When set between 1-5, it
lights up only for a short period of time when a target is detected or while navigating the
menu and then it goes off. At C1-C5 levels, it will be continuously lit.

Set it at C1-C5 and it will stay on continuously.

I never understood the want for it to come on when you detect a target, to be honest I found that to be distracting as hell,
