Muffs for SunRay Gold phones.

Rob (IL)

New member
Does anyone know what muffs will fit the SunRay Pro phones? My leather muffs have cracked and I'm looking for a set of better muffs. I know many of their muffs cracked so I am looking for alternative ones. Maybe even gell ones.

I know I could call and get replacements from John.

If there's no label to indicate who the manufacturer of the ear muffs is, you may have to call the manufacturer of the headphones (SunRay) to find out what model of earmuffs they start out with. Once you have that information, finding aftermarket gel pads for your muffs is relatively easy.
Here's one place that sells hygiene kits for Peltor, AO Safety, and E-A-R muffs. Most likely, SunRay used Peltors for the basis of their headphones, but that's just a guess on my part.

Earmuff hygiene kits

Good luck.

Are they Pro Ears ?

Rob,
I don't know what happened to my post. That mess of unintelligible letters was supposed to say "Peltor". Don't know how it got changed - twice.

The Pro Ears sure do look similar, don't they?
Specifically the Pro Ears 300's. That's what I would go with.

Just posted this, and danged if it didn't change p e l t o r to a series of symbols again! :ranting:

Got it thanks.

Confirmation on the Pro Ears 26. They run 15.99 directly from the manufacturer.

This is an automatic system that filters certain words and so wards that fall close will also get filters. When this happens you can add periods between each letter and the word will pass the filter.

Thanks Mark. Of course, I now have to wonder, what word is P.e.l.t.o.r. close to that is offensive enough to be filtered out... ;)
