Muffs falling off of wired 600 Headphones

What a bear to get them back in until I called Minelab.

I was instructed to pop out the center disc but that was not it.

You need to slide a thin knife behind the outter disc at one of the notches and lightly press. The disc will release.
You can then insert disc into muff. Line up notches and press back in.

Not sure how long they will last but at least its fixed for now.

PS NEVER force anything as my Dear Old Dad told me !!!!

Just an FYI.

Phones seem to be one of those accessories WE are going to have to up grade. Pretty inexpensive wireless ones, same ole same ole waterproof ones...... now the wired ones. Starting to add up...... ive replaced my shaft and phones. BUT on the up side.... i do have a travel shaft now and if times get rough....... i can always sell the $200+ WM that i will never use. I do applaud ML thou for using wireless and that travel shaft which a lot of guys have to buy.

I bought a $6 adapter and use my old rat phones. I posted the type in an older reply.
