Well hunted three different spots today and came away with a bunch of goodies.Found 7 silver coins a silver jewelry piece 4 Indian head pennies and 16 wheat pennies. Wish all days could be like today. Thanks for looking and happy hunting.

Nice going Crager2 you get a standing O from me!

:clapping:

Please if you get time share some of the details, like depths and if your doing or using something new. I for one love the details.

I'm just getting going here in Iowa. Got about 20 hours in so far this year, only 3 silver's so far. Been hitting some new spots that I'm finding are completely cleaned out of everything including the really deep stuff.

Again thanks for sharing and congrats.

Woo, I just saw your post from a couple weeks ago that says you just got the 17 incher.

Now I'm suspicious that your new best day ever may have a direct link to the fact you are using said coil.

How do you plead ?

:poke:

What a day!

Very nice day!! Love that walker! Were you using the 17 inch coil?

Yes the 17" inch coil was involved for most of the day only took it off to hunt the real trashy area. I am using a wide open screen with combined and ferrous coin. All the coins were between 6-9 inches. I believe having the screen wide open is the reason I am finding so much because u can really hear all the signals. Letting u here good signals that may be masked if using really heavy discrimination. I too thought it was a walker but it's actually a 1919 2 franc its a little smaller than a US half dollar but it is silver and I am glad to have it. Also I have changed the pitch and bin sizes to help with hearing the good targets. The silver really screams out against the trash. Happy hunting and hope it helps.

Thanks for the info cragar21!

Thanks Crager21 for the details. I to have the 17" coil and that has helped me in the silver department as well.

Time for me to give that open screen thing a try.

Nice! That wets my appetite - I got out for the first time yesterday - now I'm fired up!
