Mr. Mo Jo. Rising

Well-known member
Received my Mojave today. Want to thank David of River team six detectors in Tenn.
Held one for me till I got home from vacation. Also took my little friend The Compadre in on a trade. Everything went smooth.

Nice weather yesterday but snow today. So had to just go with a air test. I find that can change in the wild. So anyway with the sensitivity cranked up, discrimination just below nickel, The MoJo.is a Compadre on steroids. Course my Compardre just had the 5.5 coil. So I'm sure that makes a difference. Anyway I'm just a coin / jewelry hunter and if the Mojave is even just a little better it's going to be a real good tool. Weather permitting, I'm gonna try to get it over some real targets.

Gratz, hope many nice treasures come your way.

Glad to help out brother, and post some of those finds when you finally get to dig.:twodetecting:

We all need some MoJo.

Glad to hear you received yours.
I love the color scheme on it. First black Tesoro.
Bench tested really well for me. Soon as the snow is gone I'm out there with it!!

Three hunts not very good weather. Compardre owners will have nooo problem with this machine. It probably has all the depth I need for my clad/Jewerly hunting. I hunt just below the lower nickel line. No iron. Except other day dug a iron bolt. I'm thinking "What's this?" Glancing at the machine found I had moved the discrimination knob to the iron area. Wearing gloves might have had something to do with this. Ya think? It hits hard on nickels, softer on dimes. Great mochine for giving your arm a break.
