Metal detecting has been a little slow for the last few weeks. Its has been either to hot to hunt for very long or the skeeters get you, but today it was just right. We went out for about an hour and the detecting was good but the finding was bad, that is until Mr. Grant showed his face. Talk about a heart stopper. Laying right there on the ground. Mr. Grant would make anyone happy. Shoot, I was tickled when I came across the two $1 bills on the beach. Great eye candy!! Love the color green. That makes for a great display. Thanks for sharing.

The ring (a childs ring) is just a gold plated ring and it is flaking off alittle, but it still is in good enough condition for a young lady to wear. I have found 4 or 5 rings in the last few weeks and they are all junk. HH Dennis in Idaho

...aint it the truth! I have found 10's and 20's but never a 50. I once found a 14K snake-link bracelet on the ground while pumping gas. The ex wife got it, drat!
