Mr. Bill's mods for Classic IDX

Just bought another Whites Classic and was wondering about how much the Mr. Bill's mods cost with shipping both ways. I hear a lot about the mods and was wondering if those who had it done think it is worth the extra expense over the stock unit. Thanks for any input you have. Happy Hunting!!

I think that the mod cost about $85.00 not including shipping. I hear it is worth the $$$ to have it done. I was going to have the mods. done but decided to sell my IDX Pro instead, it is mint. Steve.

If you have bad ground or your ground varies or you have problems with hotrocks or you hunt beaches from time to time or you use different size coils and you want the best depth for your ground then yes it's worth the money. Here's my two girls.

Thanks for the input. I contacted Mr. Bill and sent off my detector. Should be hunting with my "new and improved" Classic IDX by the first of the year. If it is any better than my original Classic Id I will be thrilled.
