Its 1:15 and I can't sleep. Will be disconnecting this computer shortly. The U-Haul is outside. Members of the church will be coming over at 9 AM to start moving things into the truck, the van and trailer, my sister-in-law's van and who knows what else.
This whole thing has been an uneasy event. The buyer at the last minute has second thoughts and wanted to back out. No one has actually gotten the physical money but yet we have signed over this house and the owners of our new place signed over and gave us the keys to the new house. Since it is a large sum of money being electronically sent to 2 locations I understand the Federal Reserve has to approve the transactions (maybe a way of watching for terrorists sending money of something) which is slowing everything down since they are 4 hours difference in time. Noon here is 8 AM there and 4PM here is noon there.
Anyway, we are the new owners of the place in Houghton Lake. We have until noon to be out of here so you can probably see why I am up this early. Will be glad when I finally get a good nights rest.
