mounting the coil backwards

I read that this was helpful???? can anyone tell me why and if this is the thing to do..

I am pretty sure it was in relation to the 10" coil. I remember Digger talking about it. It made the coil and unit have better balance if I remember right, Beale.
 
I had a buddy that ran his MXT 4x6 and 6x10 coils backwards. Said it make balance better but he could get the DD coil closer to fence lines and swing set legs. reguardless why, he sure has the proof that it doesn't effect the machine in anyway.
