Mounting Surf PI Dual Field

digaholic

New member
I just received my new Surf PI Dual Field. What is the preferred method of mounting the control box, under the arm, in front of the hand, a straight shaft with it mounted behind the arm or mounted on the waist? Any tips on using this machine would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you.

with a dive belt. I usually wear a weight belt with the quick release and the DF sits on top of it over the weight belt out of the way and no cable strain. That way I can use a straight shaft with the coil only for searching in the water.

I have mine under cuff on the stock shaft, its light enough not to be noticed and you can swing all day with it that way, no pulling on wires either only the spring coiled headphone wire
