Most silver in one hunt for me today..

I had the entire day to go detecting, which was nice because it's likely my last hunt of 2012. I worked it hard at the same yard I hit last week...I love this yard! I needed 7 silver coins to meet my goal of 50 silver coins for the year. The AT Pro met and then exceeded my expectations and found 8 silver coins. I also found my first George nickel, and sniffed out another Indian penny. The ring was a surprise, especially because it has an "M" engraved on it (my name is Mike). I was hoping it was solid, but it's plated. Anyway, what a great 7 hours of hunting!

Very well done! :clapping: whatcha mean last hunt of the year? A few more like that and you'll break 100! Stay in it, Johnny!

That's a load of silver, congratulations!!

Very nice hunt Mike, I'm hoping to hunt all winter in the U K, we have mild winters

and the snow never lasts that long, and very rare that the ground freezes over.

Having said that, our summers are a wash - out.

Congrats on that hunt nice silvers and ring.
Digging will soon be finished up in the north.

I wish I could keep detecting all winter! Once winter sets in, the ground is frozen solid as concrete 4 feet deep...never mind the several feet of snow on top of it. Aaah, life on the Canadian prairies....

Wildeagle, the little medal thing looks like it used to have something decorative on the front, but its gone.
