Most Of The Grassy Areas Are Frozen, But I Hunted Anyways... :jump:

Had a good breakfast with the wifey, then headed out to a park. Most of the areas were frozen, however, close to trees, the soil is dry, and a good push with the relic shovel got me some good depth in some spots. Nothing spectacular on this hunt, as I was just happy to get my legs and arms in motion for a workout. Any repeatable signal in coins mode got attention with the AT pro.

Below are the best finds of the day!

Right about January you should come south to remember what warmer hunting is like...I can't take the cold anymore but the heat's not so bad.

Nice hunt, John! I think all you I think all you experts from the frozen North should come down to Silver City, NM for the winter and help me learn how to hunt the ultra trashy and iron infested creek where the 1890s floods washed all the Main Street buildings down. We'll call it a convention, yeah, dat's it! Just tell your wives "Honey, I'll see you in the spring!" I know there's some great stuff in there...

Heck, I'd come up from FL for a crack at that!

OK...Is that a mistake on the Peters cartridge, or is it a joke??? BUICK SHOT???...O RLY???...lol

HH,

WTG John. Have you considered hunting on frozen or snowy ground and marking potential digging sites with, say, a penny so they'd be easy to refind in the spring?
